I know that some of you may be saying “What? Another Mustang?” You gotta give me a break though, this isn’t your average 64 1/2 bellybutton this is a GT 500. Replica or not, I really dig the ’68 GT 500 and this is a sweet ride.
Here are the particulars care of Russo and Steele:
Beginning as a rust-free 1968 Ford Mustang fastback from California, this Shelby GT500 recreation was given a ground-up restoration, with the car taken completely apart, bead-blasted and stripped to bare metal, and then entirely sealed with epoxy primer and built back up. It sports Highland Green exterior finish with a White Deluxe interior. The main features include 347 stroker crate engine, Heidt’s independent rear suspension, Mustang II front end with power rack-and-pinion steering, and Ford AOD performance automatic overdrive transmission. The balance of the car is basically stocked with either restored original parts, NOS parts, or reproduction parts
